One of the great strengths of Lublin Airport is its geographical location in the relation to all the cities in the lubelskie region. Access to Lublin is very easy. The journey takes only 25-30 minutes. Transport is ensured by regular rail and bus services. The railbus terminal station is situated in the airport terminal.   ul. The bus stops in front of the Departures Hall and departs from outside the Arrivals Hall. Tickets are purchased from the bus driver. The Main Railway Station in Lublin is situated to the south of the city centre, on Dworcowy Square, at the boundary of the Za Cukrownią and Dziesiąta districts. Connections to the city centre are provided by buses: 001, 013, 030. The routes of trolleybus lines 151, 152 and 160 are also situated nearby (on Bychawski Square). There is a large TAXI rank in front of the station. Situated next to the railway station is the PKS Southern Coach Station, with private carriers’ bus and minibus services also available in its immediate vicinity, serving destinations including Biłgoraj, Bychawa, Krzczonów, Żółkiewka, Zakrzówek and Świdnik. The Coach Station is situated in the centre of Lublin, close to municipal transport stops. A city bike station is installed in the immediate vicinity. The historic Old Town is located within short walking distance. Tourist coaches can stop at restricted parking spaces, located on the Castle Square in Lublin. The spaces are dedicated only for vehicles transporting organized groups of tourists accompanied by an event organiser.   When using the parking space, please follow the rules: - a bus driver is allowed to stop at the bus stop only to pick up or drop off tourists - when at bus stop, engines must be turned off - to avoid traffic jams, the driver should leave the bus stop immediately after the tourists are picked up or dropped off - the parking time cannot exceed 15 minutes; once the passengers leave the bus, the driver can drive to the car park located at Aleja Unii Lubelskiej.

The first public transport vehicles in Lublin were... the horse-drawn omnibuses. Nowadays, 290 buses and 108 trolleybuses are in use of the 12 trolleybus lines, 59 bus lines and 3 night service lines. The public transport in Lublin organisation, Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego ZTM Lublin (Public Transport Authority) served 123.000.000 passengers in 2017. Lublin is one of approximately 350 cities in the world that have a trolleybus system. In Poland, trolleys are available only in 4 cities: Tychy, Gdynia, Sopot and Lublin. For the passengers' safety, most of the vehicles have the surveillance cameras installed inside.    Zero emission policy One of the main issues of the ZTM policy is an environmental protection by increasing the Lublin residents’ awareness of the public transport benefits. Thanks to the modernizations, ZTM Lublin has reached 30 per cent level of zero emission vehicles. Trolleybuses Lublin is one of three cities (Gdynia and Tychy) in Poland where trolleybuses are operating, with the largest trolleybus network. The first trolleybus ride took place on July 21st, 1953. All of the trolleybuses are low-floored and zero emission policy adapted.   Transport accessibility/Improvements For people with disabilities convenience, most of the vehicles have a special button installed next to the door which once pressed, calls the driver immediately. The driver helps to get on and off the vehicle. Also, the vehicles have the special seats provided for pregnant women, older and disabled people and a special space for the baby trolleys or the wheelchairs.   Plan a journey To check the schedule, go to the next bus stop or visit ztm.lublin.eu. Free phone applications are also available, such as jakdojade or mobileMPK.   Fares & payments The normal. 30-minute ticket price is 3.20 zł, the reduced price one costs 1.60. For who is entitled to get the free and reduced, see the municipal and statutory entitlements.   Please take note that if you have no valid ticket, you will be asked to leave the bus, show your ID to the inspector and pay a fine (in cash immediately or in a 14 days period in the Customer Service Office of the Public Transport Authority in Lublin, ul. Nałęczowska 14, open from Monday to Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. ). If you refuse to give your personal details or are not willing to pay a fine, the inspector is obliged to call the police or other law enforcement authorities and hold you until the arrival of the police or other law enforcement authorities. Paid Parking applies Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To pay the Paid Parking fee: buy a parking ticket in a parking ticket machine (pay with coins or using an Electronic Ticket Card topped up at the Paid Parking Zone Office), buy parking subscription, activate the Paid Parking fee charging service on your mobile (mobiPARKING mobile payment system). City bike
Lubelski Rower Miejski (Lublin City Bike) provides an alternative, ecological and a fast way of transport. There are 951 rental bikes and 96 stations located in Lublin and Świdnik. From the beginning of April to the end of November city bikes are available on a 24/7 basis.   It is very simple and cheap. First 20 minutes are always free. The only fee is the initial one, it costs 10 PLN (you can pay eg. via bank transfer). The first hour of the rental costs 1 PLN. Second - 3 PLN, third and every consecutive one - 4 PLN.   Hiring a bike. Go to the terminal, press “Rent”, provide your mobile phone number and PIN and follow the instructions on the screen. The bike you have chosen is released automatically. If you are secured with a cable lock – unlock it with the code provided.   Returning the bike. All you need to do is to walk your bike and put it into the electric lock. Do not worry – the sound and signal indicates you have returned the bike. If there are no stationary locks available, use the cable lock provided to attach your bike to any loop on the rack or any other bicycle and then change the numbers on the lock. The ZIUTEK trolleybus and GUTEK bus enable you to grasp the image of Lublin as far as the public transport vehicles are concerned. Passengers travel in the 70's mood. Not only have timetables been prepared but also directional boards in the spirit of the last century. Moreover, the driver, conductor and guide are wearing clothes referring to that period. There are a number of pivotal monuments and places crucial for the history of Lublin on the bus route. Furthermore, the golden days of ZIUTEK and GUTEK will be introduced to the interested parties.

Ziutek
Ziutek is one of the MPK-owned old Soviet ZIU trolleybuses. At the 55th anniversary of the trolleybus system in 2008, a tourist line served by this vehicle was put into operation. The remodelled version has some tables between seats and a bar unit inside and can accommodate 22 people. The vehicle features some air brushed graphics of the City Hall and a Lublin’s symbol, Cracow Gate. Gutek
Gutek
Gutek is a Jelcz 272 Mex, also called as „a cucumber”. In 1971-1983, this bus served as a public vehicle. As originally, the bus exterior is red with the cream finish features. It is more than 10 metres long, has two doors and can carry 81 passengers (28 seated and 53 standing).
